This is one of the few hanging scroll paintings I have left in collection. In years past I sold hundreds of these, both Chinese and Japanese, vintage and antique, hand-painted scroll paintings. The business has not been good since 2008.
This is painted on traditional art paper named Xuan, commonly called rice-paper. It has the traditional silk-fabric and paper mount. The whole scroll measures about 28" x 66".
The classic Plum Blossom, very beautiful.....
